Poem: Delusions of the soul

I dream in this morning

With open eyes and open heart

Maybe someone

In another dimension

Is dreaming of me

Projecting me on this reality

Maybe I’m someone’s subconscious

Maybe I’m an avatar

So many maybe’s and so little truth

For dreams are fabrications of our mind

Delusions of the soul

Bizarre films of dormant brain

Screensavers of the psyche

And I am rife with what if’s
I am eager to know the truth

Or maybe I shouldn’t be

For the truth maybe be challenging

I believe that I should be content

With what I have and what I see

Enjoy the present moment

These simple and complicated times

When what if’s are just dreams

Of the curious mind of Scarlett

Writing as much as I can is my goal. Writing soothes the soul and quiets the mind. There's not much to say about me, my words talk louder than any description that I can make.
