Practice Art, Unknown Date

I made these two practice pieces in about two days. Just doodling. Had a lot of making them, letting my imaginatination run free, absolutely no planning. I used Windsor & Newton promarkers and ecoline brush markers.

It was made some time ago and hopefully hiatus like this will be avoided in the future. I love my blog and my audience. Much love to you all.

Writing as much as I can is my goal. Writing soothes the soul and quiets the mind. There's not much to say about me, my words talk louder than any description that I can make.

  1. I like these drawings/doodles, Scarlett. I’m fascinated by the eyes – they look so lifelike the way you’ve got the reflection of light shining from them I used to doodle a lot of eyes, too, for some reason. The snake is particularly good in the way it folds over itself in curves. I’m wondering what the snake represents, or is it purely abstract, do you think? I really ought to have another go at doodling – I used to find it quite relaxing and I could certainly use a bit of that at the moment … 🌞

    1. Thank you so much, Ellie. I really appreciate your thoughtful comments. I had bought a lot of pens and wanted to try them out. Started doodling. I’ve been drawn to snakes lately, for some reason. I love snakes, the shape of them. Doodling is so therapeutic, so relaxing. It’s always a good thing to do! Hugs
